Neil and Willie have put the world to rights over a dram on numerous occasions at The Clansman Hotel overlooking Loch Ness where Willie is heavily involved.
Willie who has entertained a number of Scot Golf Clients is a well known raconteur on all things Scottish, particularly Loch Ness, Whisky, Food and Media Highlands of Scotland Tourism Ambassador, Hotelier, Creative Marketeer and Imaginer After dinner speaker, Robert Burns aficionado, frequent contributor to TV and Press, lives at Loch Ness, Scotland.
Spud the Piper, Callum Fraser
Over the years our highland piper Calum Fraser known better as “ Spud the Piper” has played In some very interesting places including Kazakhstan, Moscow, China, Bangkok, Canada, Washington, Prague, New York, Amsterdam and St. Magnus's Cathedral, Orkney.
He recently travelled as the Scottish Piping ambassador to Thailand for Chivas Regal Whisky to promote the "100 Pipers" brand when he was bitten by a spider which resulted in a trip to Chiang Mai hospital for antidotes. What a lot of people never knew was that the Spider who had obviously never seen a kilt before took a fancy to it and I will leave the rest to your imagination!The tour was however a success and 100 Pipers is now the best selling dram in Asia. Calum is now the official Piper for the Tartan Army ( The official Scottish Football Fans Club “ when they travel abroad to follow the national soccer team.
He also wooed Madonna from her private jet to her famous hit “ like a virgin “ played on the bagpipes, this proved to be a sound marketing move by Spud as shortly after that he was invited over to The States to play at the wedding of famous actress Jamie Lee Curtis.
The Highlander, Ray Owens
Ray Owens has been entertaining our Golfers and Non Golfers for many years now and “The Highlander” brings to life Scottish History in an entertaining and informative show. Dressed in the traditional costumes of the times and carrying authentic weapons and equipment, the Highlander will allow them to gain a true sense of the past in a location of your choosing.
In his 13th year as the Highlander, it is also his 10th season on The Royal Scotsman train and at the Carnegie Club at Skibo Castle.
After the success in 2008 of the TV series Highlands (STV & The History Channel) where Ray was involved as Historical Consultant as well as co-writing and appearing in front of camera, in 2009 he appeared in a BBC 2 series called Britannia talking about the Highlands in the 16th Century.
Old Tom Morris, David Joy
David Joy is a fourth generation born and bred St Andrean. He is probably best known as "The man who plays Old Tom Morris "- a one-man show premiered during the 1990 Open at St Andrews, which has since been televised and adapted as a commercial video and distributed world-wide under the name of Keeper of the Greens. Personal Host, Nikki Dean
Nikki is simply “an awesome character” and as well as being the happiest person I have ever known her knowledge of the Highlands is second to none!
Her family own the beautiful Castle Hotel in Huntly which is located between Aberdeen and Inverness and is used frequently by Golf Vacation Scotland for Clients heading north to play the likes of Cruden Bay, Royal Aberdeen, Royal Dornoch, Moray Old, Nairn and Castle Stuart Links.

Neil’s friendship with Tu - Bardh has enabled Scot Golf Travel to entertain Clients at a number of venues including The Old Course Hotel in St Andrews. Fronted by vocalist and drummer Tu-Bardh Wilson Clanadonia are a traditional Drums and Pipes Band with a big difference.
Their history, culture, passion and ancestral bloodlines are all bonded together in their music. They are Scotland’s hardest working tribal drums and pipe band and their members have been entertaining fans around the world for over 20 years with countless credits in stage, screen and on radio and TV. The high octane blend of tribal rhythms, bagpipes and tartan has entertained huge audiences across the globe.
Two of the Clanadonia band members, were part of the close combat stunt crew for the blockbuster films Braveheart, Gladiator, King Arthur, The New World and The Clan. It’s also been an incredible year for the band so far and it just keeps getting better. They were are delighted to feature their music in Sony’s American TV drama “Outlander”. Since recently launching it has become a huge hit and becoming the most watched debuts for a cable series in history!
Ted Christopher is one of Scotland's finest performers. He is a well travelled and extremely versatile singer songwriter.
Unphased by any size of audience, he played to 750,000 people on The Mall in Washinton DC. A week later there were 12 in Cowie Miners Welfare Club. How's that for a quick reality check? and they were both great gigs.
Ted is a proud native of The Royal And Ancient Burgh of Stirling and was born and raised a mere claymores length from Stirling Castle and The National Wallace Monument.
