Gleneagles PGA 2014 Ryder Cup
The Gleneagles PGA Course hosted the 2014 Ryder Cup and is set up for Carts so a nice way to start or end your tour if the old legs are a bit weary from an over night flight or tramping the fairways all week! There are five tees at each hole making it a fair golfing test for all ability of golfer. The PGA course heads south-east towards the Glen of Devon before sweeping up the famous Ochil Hills to the summit of the pass below Ben Shee. All around there are stunning views, an abundance of wildlife and the A9 main highway which links you north, south, east and west is only 2 minutes away.
Gleneagles offers 3 championship courses as well as it luxurious 5* hotel and resort. The courses were the inspiration of 5 time British Open champion James Braid (The Kings and The Queens) and probably the greatest golfer ever Jack Nicklaus (PGA Centenary 2014 Ryder Cup Course).
